Binicanella is today a popular restaurant near Son Servera.Since only two decades the building has a restaurant, but it’s story goes back many centuries. The origin of the name ist Islamic and “canella” means familiy or tribe. The earliest writings that speak of Binicanella are from the 13. century. In 1229 King James I of Aragaon conquered Mallorca and ended the domination of the Arabs that lasted almost a hundred years. After the Christian conquest, the island was divided.
